Hi, my name is Katherine. I am an intern with Save the Mothers an NGO working to promote maternal and child health in East Africa and around the world. My work is mainly focused on the organization’s Master in Public Health Leadership program at Uganda Christian University in Mukono, Uganda and their Mother-Baby Friendly Hospital Initiative. I am passionate about improving the lives of women, particularly those in sub-Saharan Africa. This blog will include thoughts and stories about infant & maternal health and my adventures living in East Africa.
